English Black: a shield silver fimbriated gold charged with a cross red.

Motto: Non nobis domine

Origin/meaning

The Crusader Shield allude to the Name. The Latin Motto translates as "Not for ourselves, lord" The Badge was approved on 15 April 1930. The Name was later passed to the Royal Canadian Navy.
