Origin/meaning

He was elected twice by the Utrecht Chapters, but in both cases the pope appointed another bishop.

His arms are those of the Lords of Bronkhorst. There is one seal known from him as bishop (..) of Utrecht, showing two shields, one of the diocese and one with the family arms.
