THE ROYAL HAMPSHIRE REGIMENT, BRITISH ARMY
History: Raised in 1702 as Meredith's Regiment, in 1751 33rd Foot, and in 1786 as the 67th Foot. These two Regiments in 1881 become 1st and 2nd Battalions of the Hampshire Regiment.
