Origin/meaning

These arms have been officially granted on 4th March 1999.

The canting arms of the Cabreras (a goat Sable on Or, "cabra" in Catalan, with a bordure of pieces Sable) remind the castle of Cabrera, standing in this municipality. This castle was the centre of the barony of Cabrerès, that became the large viscounty of Cabrera.
