In Blau ein doppelschwänziger gekrönter goldener Löwe, überdeckt von einem rot-silbern geschachten Schrägrechtsbalken.
Origin/meaning
The arms are known since 1479, when they were mentioned for Heldrungen in the complicated arms of the Counts of Mansfeld, who ruled the city at the time. The origin and meaning of the arms is not known.
