Wappen von Buhlenberg/Arms (crest) of Buhlenberg
Official blazon
German

In schräglinks geteiltem Schild vorne rot-silbern geschacht, hinten in Silber über blauem Dreiberg ein blauer Wolfskopf.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on August 26, 1963.

The chequered field refers to the County Sponheim, to which the area historically belonged. The lower half shows a canting mountain (Berg), which symbolizes the local mountains. The wolf's head symbolizes the historical Wolfskaul, a small valley where there wolfs used to be trapped.
