Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on October 21, 1993.
The municipality belonged for more than 1000 years to the Prüm Abbey, which is symbolised by the crosier in the lower half. The T-cross is the symbol for St. Anthony, the patron saint of the local church. The wavy division symbolises the Kyll river.
