Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 14, 2019.

The arms are a combination of elements of the two former arms; the bell tower from Santo Estêvão das Galés, the tree from Venda do Pinheiro (doubled for the two parishes) and the base also from Venda do Pinheiro. The colours are also derived from the previous arms.
