A lion rampant purpure in front a Roman helmet Or.
Motto: Persist.
Origin/meaning
The Roman Helmet symbolises Hadrian's Wall which lies along the Border of the Station. The Lion is from the Arms of the Percy Family which is strong in the locality. The badge was granted in 1953. Literature: Image from Pinterest.
