Origin/meaning
The ploughshares indicate the importance of agriculture during the history of the area. The propeller is reminiscent of the construction of airplanes during the Second World War. From 1934 to 1945, the Wenzendorf factory of Hamburger Flugzeugbau GmbH was located in the municipality
