Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a white oval 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 3 1/16 inches (7.78 cm) in width overall, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border, the head and neck of a Siberian Huskie in black and white with a blue eye, encompassed by a red designation band and inscribed “PONTIAC NORTHERN” in white letters.
Origin/meaning
Red and white are the school’s colors. The Siberian Huskie is the school’s mascot and represents swiftness, courage, vigilance, and loyalty. The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 24 October 2006.
