Escudo xadrezado de ouro e de vermelho, de três peças em faixa e cinco em pala, as de vermelho carregadas de dois filetes de prata postos em faixa. Castelo de prata realçado de negro, aberto e iluminado de vermelho, com a torre central carregada pela cruz da Ordem de Santiago de vermelho, assente o castelo num mar de seis faixetas ondadas, três de verde e três de prata. Coroa mural de prata de cinco torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro : " SINES ".
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 30, 1997.
Unfortunately I have no background information on these arms. Any information is welcome !
The previous arms were granted on October 28, 1936 and only differ in the crown.
