Mustassa kentässä paaluittain kultainen rukin lyhty, jossa lanka hopeaa.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 12, 1953.
The spindle refers to the fact that the parish women have been known as highly skilled weavers of patterned fabrics, which also makes it a canting symbol ("kangas" could mean fabric).
