BERTRANGE
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on December 22, 1981.
The division of the shield is taken from the arms of the oldest Lords of Bertrange. The lion is the lion of Luxembourg in the upper part, as the village became a possession of the counts of Luxembourg (16th century), who at the time were also king of Bohemia. The lion of Bohemia is the lion in the lower part of the arms.
