ORTHO

Province : Luxembourg
Incorporated into: 1976 La Roche-en-Ardenne

Armoiries de Ortho

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 29, 1965.

The arms are identical to those of La-Roche-en-Ardenne, to which the village historically belonged. The arms show the the lion of Bohemia, with a label to distinguish the city arms of La-Roche-en-Ardenne from the arms of Bohemia. The arms of Ortho show the local patron saint, St. Hubertus, with his attribute the deer as supporters.
