EITZING

State : Oberösterreich
District : Ried im Innkreis

Wappen von Eitzing/Arms (crest) of Eitzing
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 7, 1973.

The arms are based on the arms of the Lords of Eitzing, who played a major role in the local history, and whose castle was situated in Obereitzing. The family lived in the castle at least until 1472.
