French De sinople à quatre pals ondés d'argent, au chef d'or chargé de deux haches de bûcheron de sable, emmanchées de gueules, croisées en sautoir.

Origin/meaning

The wavy pales represent the famous Kinguélé Falls (also used for energy production). The green color symbolises the forest and agricultural industries. Lumberjack axes symbolize logging: the resulting wealth is expressed by the metal gold.
