NO 202 SQUADRON, ROYAL AIR FORCE

History: Formed at Eastchurch in October 1914 as No 2 Squadron, Royal Naval Air Service. Becoming on 1 April 1918 No 202 Squadron, RAF.

Origin/meaning

The Unit's connection with the Sea inspired the badge. The Motto translates as "Be always vigilant". The badge was granted in December 1937.
