NO 831 SQUADRON, FAA
History: Firt formed in 1941 at Royal Naval Air Station Crail (HMS Jackdaw), Fife, Scotland as a Torpedo-Spotter-Reconnaissance Squadron for HMS Victorious. Later joined HMS indomitable as a Spotter-Reconnaissance Squadron until 1944. Finally in 1958 reformed at Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose as 751 Squadron as a Training Unit with Avengers and Sea Venoms until disbanded in 1966.
