NO 1771 SQUADRON, FAA
History: First formed in 1944 at Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton (HMS Heron), somerset with Fairey Fireflies for service in HMS Impacable in the Pacific on Anti-Shipping Strikes. The Squadron disbanded in 1945.
English | Blue; a base barry wavy of six white and blue chief an eagle gold in combat with a sea monster black issuant from base armed and langued red. Motto: Undaunted. |
Origin/meaning
The Badge was apporved on 6 July 1944.
