Origin/meaning

The arms show the chain of the Brotherhood of St. Anthony, a noble ordre, founded by Count Adolf of Kleve in 1435. One of the main seats of this ordre was in Hau. The chain shows the symbol of St. Anthony, the T-cross connected by golden rings.
