SIGISMUND SCHULTES

Born: September 26, 1801
Deceased: March 1, 1861

Abbot of Schottenkloster in Wien, 1832-1861

Arms of Sigismund Schultes

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms show the combined arms of the Schottenkloster and the arms of the Telky Abbey in the upper half. The Telky Abbey had become a possession of the Schottenkloster in 1702.

The lower half and the supporters are taken from the family arms.

Different variations of the combination of Abbey and personal arms are known.
