ZELL

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Rastatt (until 1972 Bühl)
Incorporated into : 1936 Unzhurst (1973 Ottersweier)

Wappen von Zell (Ottersweier)/Arms (crest) of Zell (Ottersweier)
Official blazon
German In Blau ein goldenes Krückenkreuz, unten belegt von einer silbernen Klammer mit Krückenfortsätzen nach oben.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The municipality used in the 19th century a seal with the symbol shown in the arms, but at the time not in a shield. The arms were proposed and adopted in 1900 in the colours above.

The symbol is most likely a village symbol, without any further meaning. The colours are arbitrarily chosen.
