Escudo de azul, estrela de cinco pontas de ouro, radiante, entre duas fontes heráldicas de prata e azul; chefe de prata com açor estendido de sua cor, segurando nas garras uma quina de azul com cinco besantes de prata; em ponta, ondeado de prata e verde de três tiras e, vogando, um barco de prata, de vermelho e azul. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas : “ LUZ – SANTA CRUZ DA GRACIOSA “.
