Escudo de azul, coroa mariana de ouro, dois ramos de oliveira de prata, frutados de negro, postos em pala e um carvalho de prata, arrancado do mesmo e folhado de ouro, tudo disposto em cruz. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro em maiúsculas : “ PÓVOA DA ISENTA “.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 29, 2000.

The crown refers to the local patron saint, Our Lady of the Conception. The olive branches refer to the main agricultural crop in the parish. The oak refers to the importance of forestry for the parish.
