Official blazon
Un scut tripartit, în formă de furcă răsturnată. Cartierul unu, dreapta, este încărcat cu un căprior de argint, pe fond albastru, cu piciorul stâng din față ridicat, urcând pe o stâncă de argint. Cartierul doi, stânga, este încărcat cu un știulete de porumb, de aur, cu frunze verzi, pe fond de argint. Cartierul trei este încărcat cu o gură de mină, de argint, pe fond albastru. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint, cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 21, 2004.
The deer represents the fauna of the area. Maize cultivation is the predominant occupation of the inhabitants.
The town is located in an important mining area, at the entrance to the Metal Mountains, in the south of Caraş.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
