Official blazon
Un scut roșu, încărcat cu un căprior partajat în trei. În centru, pe aur, broșează însemnul căilor ferate - roata înaripată neagră. În dreapta, pe azur, o plantă cu două flori, de argint. În stânga, tot pe azur, o coloană de marmură naturală. Scutul este timbrat de o coloană murală de argint, formată din trei turnuri crenelate.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 27, 1999.
the winged wheel, the symbol of the railways, attests the history of the city and defines the locality as an important railway center.
The marble column attests to another basic occupation of the inhabitants, the marble processing.
The flowering plant alludes to the park with rich and varied vegetation existing here, including the most valuable collection of woody plants in the country.
