În partea dreaptă, în câmp roșu, se află o clopotniță de argint, încadrată de zidurile incintei, tot de argint, așezată pe o terasă verde ce este străbătută de o fascie undată, de argint, plasată în bandă. În partea stângă, în câmp albastru, se află un stejar dezrădăcinat, de argint. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 28, 2005.

The belfry refers to the Apostolache monastery, founded at the end of the sixteenth century, and from which the town took its name.
