NAKKILA
Region : Satakunta
Former province : Länsi-Suomi (until 1997 Turku and Pori)
Official blazon
Sinisessä kentässä kultainen palkki, jossa musta nahkiainen; palkin kummallakin puolella kolme paaluittaista kultatähkää.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 16, 1953.
The arms show a golden bend between wheat ears, this symbolises the Kokemäenjoki river flowing between fertile land. The bend shows a common fish, a river lamprey.
