Origin/meaning
The arms are the historical arms of the free royal city of Koprivnica. The arms show the city fortress and a royal crown to indicates it's status as Royal city. The fleur-de-lys is taken from the arms of France, for the House of Anjou. Koprivnica received city rights from the Hungarian Kings from the House of Anjou.
