  • (de) Gespalten von Gold und Blau; vorne ein schwarzer Löwe, belegt mit einem silbernen Schrägfaden; hinten schräggekreuzt zwei silberne Federn, be­gleitet von vier (1: 2:1) silbernen Sternen.

Origin/meaning

The arms show the arms ofthe Archdiocese of Bamberg, and the personal arms. The two feathers are a canting symbol, Schrieber means writer. The meaning of the stars is not known.
