The oldest known owners of the castle and mill was the Porsfeld family, who also used a water-mill wheel in their arms. The three oak leaves and acorns symbolise the second village in the municipality, Gammellund, which in Dainsh means old-forest. As the forests in the area mainly consists of oak trees, the leaves were chosen as a symbol for the village. Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 6, 1984.
