CÂMPIA TURZII

District/county (județ): Cluj

Stema Câmpia Turzii

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 18, 2002.

Swords symbolically express the defense fight of the locals over the centuries.

The number 1219 reminds of the first documentary attestation of the locality.

The steel pouring pot and the wheat ears symbolize the activity of the inhabitants of the area, respectively metallurgy and cereal culture.

The number of towers - five - attests to the fact that the settlement is an urban center, elevated to the rank of municipality.
