German | In Silber auf der mittleren Kuppe eines dreiteiligen blauen Felsenberges eine grüne Esche. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 2, 1967 and are identical to the former arms of Niederaschau.
The arms show a canting ash tree (Esche) on a mountain. The tree is derived from the arms of the Lords of Aschau, which are known from 1265-1326.
Literature: Stadler, 1964-1971, 8 volumes.
