WIEN-SCHOTTENFELD
State : Wien (Vienna)
Origin/meaning
The arms of Schottenfeld show a "Scottish" (more liekely Irish) Benedictine monk. The area, formerly named "Oberneustift" was not developed before the 19th century and originally belonged to the Benedictine monastery of the "Schotten" (Scots).
