Bockenba.jpg

Origin/meaning

The arms of Bockenbach were granted on May 27, 1939.

The upper part shows a horn, the symbol of the Amt Ferndorf, to which the municipality belonged. The lower half shows a roebuck's head (Bock=buck), a canting symbol. The wavy division line symbolises the -bach part of the name (Bach=river, stream).
