Official blazon

In Rot ein silberner Wellenbalken begleitet oben von einem nach rechts, unten von einem nach links schwimmenden silbernen Fisch.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 21, 1952.

The arms are supposed to be canting, form Fisch-Bach or fish-river.

The town did not use any arms prior to 1952, but used a seal of a fisherman between two trees from 1826-1938, and only a fisherman between 1938 and 1952.
The colours of the arms were taken from the arms of the 14th century arms of the Lords of Fischach.
