Wappen von Senden (Bayern)

Official blazon

In Gold unter einem blauen Querfluss eine blaue heraldische Lilie.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 27, 1973.

The wavy bend symbolises the Iller and Donau rivers in the municipality. The fleur-de-lis is taken from the arms of the important and powerful Fugger family. The village belonged to the Oberkirchberg Estate, a possession of the Fugger family for several centuries since 1507.
