Official blazon
Geteilt und oben von Blau und Silber gespalten; auf der Spaltlinie die verschlungenen Großbuchstaben S und T; unten in Silber auf grünem Hügel eine rote Burgruine mit Kapelle und blauen Dächern.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on March 31, 1836 by King Ludwig I.
The upper part of the arms shows the letters S and T, for the former Staufen district and court. The colours were changed into the colours of Bavaria. The lower part shows the Staufen castle.
