KNOPP-LABACH
State : Rheinland-Pfalz
District (Kreis) : Südwestpfalz
Verbandsgemeinde : Verbandsgemeinde Wallhalben
Additions : 1800s Knopp, Labach
Official blazon
In Silber auf schwarzem Dreiberg, darin fünf silberne Bollen 2:1:2, rechts eine grüne Sense und eine grüne Schäferschippe, gekreuzt, links ein bewurzelter grüner Baum.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on January 15, 1973.
The tree is a canting element for Labach and is taken from the old arms of the village. The balls in the base are also taken from the arms of Labach and are the arms of the Lords of Sickingen, to which both villages belonged until 1793.
The tools symbolize the agricultural character of the region and the mountain in the base symbolizes the high position of the villages.
