Official blazon
- (1818) van keel, beladen in den linker bovenhoek met een wolk, waaruit komt ene hand, houdende een schaal van goud.
- (1844) Een rood veld, met eenen regter arm, naer het leven, met eene blauwe kleeding, houdende eene gulden waeg, en komende uit eene witte wolk, geplaetst op het tweede perk.
Origin/meaning
The arms were originally granted in 1818 or 1819 and confirmed on June 10, 1846.
The arms show a pair of scales, symbol of justice. This symbol already appeared on the 18th century seals of the village.
