Province : West-Vlaanderen
Incorporated into : 1977 Zwevegem
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on April 22, 1969.
The arms consist of two shields under a single crown. The two shields show the arms of the families that historically ruled the village. The lion is derived from the arms of Liedekerke de Gavre, the palms branches with the stars are the arms of the De Richardot family and finally the other shield shows the arms of the d'Ursel family.
