Sinisessä kentässä hopeinen vesiratas.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on August 29, 1962.

The arms show a wheel of a water mill. The arms indicate the industry, which was based on the water power.

The previous arms were granted on May 9, 1947.

These arms also indicated industry with a wheel, but ha din the upper half the letter F and showing awavy bar for the rivers used for the hydro-electric power.
