Geteilt und unten gespalten; oben in Blau ein wachsender goldener Löwe mit roter ausgeschlagener Zunge und roter Bewehrung, unten vorn in Schwarz ein goldenes Eisen mit einem goldenen Schlägel gekreuzt, unten hinten ein rotes sechsspeichiges Rad auf goldenem Grund

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 12, 1991.

The upper half shows the lion, derived from the arms of the Counts of <a href=schwarzb|Schwarzberg]], who ruled the area for many centuries. The lower half shows some miner's tools, symbol for the copper mining in the area; and a wheel for the fact that historically village was known for its coach drivers.
