KRAKAUSCHATTEN

State : Steiermark
District : Murau

Wappen von Krakauschatten

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 26, 1982.

The arms contain the crow charge of all the municipalities in the Krakau-area. The two rakes in chief symbolise the chapel to St. Isidor, a farmers' patron saint, whose main attribute is the rake; and also the border of the Austrian states of Styria (green and white) and Salzburg (red and white).
