Origin/meaning
The green background denotes agriculture and grazinig and the grapes the vine growing industry. The red cross on white background indicates the link with the nearby city of Bulawayo. The blue and white circles represent the dams and the kudu head the local wildlife. The motto translates at Nobody alone knows (it), meaning that the local council is a team.
