Origin/meaning
The arms were never officially granted, but used from 1991-1994.
The dents are taken from the arms of the Schwarzenberg Estate and the cross in the base is derived from the arms of the Counts of Meissen from the Meinheringer dynasty. The arms thus combine symbols from the former rulers in the district.
