Origin/meaning
The municipality used in the 19th century a seal with the symbol shown in the arms, but at the time not in a shield. The arms were proposed and adopted in 1900 in the colours above.
The symbol is most likely a village symbol, without any further meaning. The colours are arbitrarily chosen.
