Official blazon

Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite. În câmpul scutului, de culoare albastră, este reprezentat un sfânt de aur binecuvântând cu mâna dreaptă, iar în stânga ținând la piept o carte. Scutul este timbrat cu o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 4, 2019.

The image of a saint represents Saint Ghelasie from Râmeț, the founder of the old church of Râmeț Monastery from 1388 and also patron of the locality.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
