BĂGACIU
District/county (județ): Mureș
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 11, 2015.
The fortress with the church tower refers to the fortified Evangelical Church from the 14th century - a historical monument.
The bunches of grapes symbolize the viticultural richness of the area, and their number indicates the number of component villages of the commune.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
